High: Trying all the local Missourian cuisine (i.e. fried ravioli, gooey butter cake, and throwed rolls).
Sarah's Highs and Lows
High: Wandering the aisles of a local Columbian bookshop and discovering old copies of A Wrinkle in TIme, The Giver, and The Hobbit to gift Lanie (more on that in Day 7).
Low: Ongoing humidity that my California blood does not know how to handle.
High: Watching the staff at Lambert's Cafe toss their famous "throwed rolls" halfway across the restaraunt.
Mowgli's Highs and Lows
High: Managing to sneak a big bite of cat poop while Grammy was looking the other way.
Low: Mom making me go for a walk in the humidity when all I wanted was to go back to the air-conditioned hotel and nap.
High: Finding some good grass to roll in while Mom ran errands at our charging station.
